About this scholarship

College Ave, a private student loan lender, runs an ongoing monthly sweepstakes that awards $1,000 to one winner chosen at random each month. Entries are not judged: there is no essay, GPA, or merit criterion, only a short online registration form. Entrants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or the District of Columbia, at least the age of majority in their state of residence (or an eligible minor), and either enrolled in high school or a postsecondary institution or the parent or legal guardian of an enrolled student. Each person may submit one entry per email address per calendar month.
